Shopping for a rug online in Canada usually means running into the same handful of names, and rugs.ca is one of the bigger ones. Before you order, it's worth comparing what you're actually getting, and that's exactly where a Canadian company like Rugsco.ca fits into the picture as an option worth looking at alongside it.

A Few Things Worth Comparing First
If you look through rugs ca reviews on a few different platforms, a pattern comes up more than once: customers ordering from a ".ca" site expecting local shipping, and instead finding out the order comes from a US warehouse. That matters for two reasons. First, rugs ca shipping time can stretch out once cross-border transit and customs are part of the trip, instead of a straightforward domestic delivery. Second, it shows up again once you get into rugs ca return policy, where a handful of buyers describe return shipping costs running well over $100 CAD, since sending something back means shipping it across the border in the other direction.
None of this means every order goes wrong, plenty of reviews are positive too. But it's the kind of thing worth checking before you commit to a rug that's bulky and expensive to ship twice. If you're after a washable rug that ships and returns within Canada, here are a few from our own collection:

Where Rugsco.ca Fits In
Rugsco is based in Canada, and orders ship from within the country, so there's no cross-border leg added to delivery and no surprise brokerage fee waiting at the door. Returns are free, without a shipping cost attached either way.
The catalog covers a wide range of styles, so whether you want a boho rug for a relaxed look or a neutral piece to anchor a living room rug setup, there's plenty to browse. It's a smaller, more curated selection than a massive catalog site, but everything ships and returns the same straightforward way.

What to Check Before You Order
Wherever you end up buying from, it's worth confirming three things upfront: where the rug actually ships from, what a return costs if the color or size isn't right in person, and how long delivery realistically takes to your address. Comparing those details across a couple of sites takes a few minutes and can save a lot of hassle if a rug doesn't work out once it's home. This holds whether you're shopping for a small accent piece or a larger 8x10 rug for a full room.
FAQ
How do I know where a Canadian rug site ships from?
Check the shipping or FAQ page, and scan a few customer reviews. A .ca domain doesn't always mean the rug ships from within Canada, and some sites fulfill orders from a US warehouse, which adds transit time and can bring customs or brokerage fees. Rugsco ships from within Canada, so there's no cross-border leg.
What should I look for in a return policy?
The main thing is who pays for return shipping. Some retailers offer free delivery but charge for returns, which can run over $100 CAD on a large rug shipped across the border. Rugsco offers free returns with no shipping cost attached either way.
How long does rug delivery usually take in Canada?
It depends on where the rug ships from. Domestic orders are typically faster, while cross-border shipments take longer once customs is involved. Rugsco orders generally ship within 2–5 days from within Canada.
